I’d like to write this message…
I’d like to congratulate all candidates from Presidential down to the local ones who conceded to the winning other candidates. I don’t want to say “opponent” per se because that will ruin my intent in writing this blog. Nice job to all of you!
Our country has been characterized or noted as one where candidates who are behind others don’t have the guts or decisions to concede when they are losing the race. But with what had happened in our very recent election, this character has been completely erased. I can say this, with so many high ranking candidates who did it, goodness, isn’t that enough?
Yes, you may say, that is not enough and I agree with you if what you’re thinking is what it’s in my head. When just today, coalescing is about to happen and not only that I hope that even without coalition these gentleman and ladies who conceded before the winning candidates would move and act towards the greater advocacy, to help one another, to help uplift every Filipinos’ lives thus uplifting our whole country from poverty, injustice, etc.
Ahhh, it’s really a good thing to think about that it will happen sooner than I think of. Again, let’s thank God that there are people who are like this and we need to salute them. God bless the Philippines!
