Ayyayay! I can’t access our ftp site here in the office today. I have to upload the files that were recently updated. So, instead of wasting my time doing nothing, I’m writing this blog about it (and some related issues), hehehe. Even our chat messenger services here, I can’t connect through them.

Others use proxy (servers) to connect to some websites that were blocked so that they can access those sites. Well, in fairness (which is really supposed to be true) to our company, we should not be flooding our servers with this websites that cause heavy traffic to the network which will cause problems in any given time. I think the problem would be minimal only if people would know the real use of these sites and how to use them effectively. But of course who can blame them? In effect, this is the use of these networking sites and it’s what they were made of.

So, in short, it is normal then that these sites are blocked from any company that sees it’s appropriate to do so. We can’t blame them.

I should be emailing our IT department but I think they’re too busy to do it for me. Hmmm, I can wait for an hour or so to retry the uploading process that I’m doing. So that’s it, bye for now!

I have already emailed our IT department; I cannot wait any longer, hehehe. I need to finish this work. By now, I’m still waiting for the response or any solution they might post.

There you go! The IT department replied and I think my concern on ftp will be addressed sooner or later (of course I believe it will not be later than when I go home, hehehe).
